MMM mmm mmm! Don't cha just love waking up with the windows open and the birds chirping? I sure do! Mondays don't even bug me when it's this nice out! It was 80 degrees yesterday with a lovely breeze! Perfect! It was a really nice weekend.
Saturday I had a 4H meeting. I finally took pictures!

I had the girls separate their six fabrics and number them one through six. The ones and twos get sewn together; threes and fours and ect. Then they will get sewn in rows with each row starting with a different set to mix up the color combos a bit.

The trickiest part was dealing with all the different sewing machines!! I am no sewing machine expert, so getting the girls going on each machine was a little more challenging than I expected! I had help though, and I am glad to have the use of all the machines! We'll learn as we go!

They surely hung in there longer than I thought since it was so nice out Saturday!!
Sunday after church we spent the day outside having badminton tournaments!! It was fun, and I hope it is good exercise for me! It was just a great day!!
Don't forget about my Prom Time Drawing!!! Let me know if you post a picture either on your blog or MaryJanes Forum and I will enter you into a random drawing for some "celebration" goodies!! Love all the pictures I have seen so far!

You sure have more energy then me, or maybe I'm just not a real nice person like you.4h meetings, church, sports etc. Lets see, Richard, the kids, thrift store, something wrong there. HA.
Oh this weather is wonderfull, we have been outside getting lots and lots done the last two days. Went over to my youngest daughters last night for an outside dinner. yummy. They have a new golden puppy, so cute. I put his picture on my blog.

I've posted a vintage prom pic on my blog! Look what you started. Speaking of starting things, this is so much fun what you're doing for/with these girls. You are planting seeds... :)
What could be better?
This looks like fun! What a great thing to be teaching teens... my daughters recently attended a "grown up" quilt meeting with me at the local extension office. They got loads of attention!
So much fun working with youngs ones!
We just signed up to be a 4-H family this past Saturday and I am so looking forward to the cooking, sewing and animal projects! What fun...loved the pics of your group!!!
Oh goodness yes! I love waking up like that these past few days. I've been hearing a Bob-white each morning but have been unable to spot him or her yet. I must learn to sew; wish I could join your class. xoxo
