This is a miniature bleeding heart. Isn't she sweet. I am getting excited watching all my plants show themselves again this spring. My perennial bed looks good and healthy, but I am disappointed in my shade garden. No signs of my Lilly of the valley or ferns. Bummer. My Irises haven't bloomed yet, but I am anxious to show them off to you and tell you their stories!
Once again it's a busy week, but I have gotten in a lot of sewing. Sanity sewing you may call it!! I've been making tea towels and baby bibs!! Fun, quick stuff, for in between soccer games, tennis matches and baseball! LOL!
My daughter's first semi-formal is this Friday...I'll be a weeping willow if you ever saw one!
Blessings to all of you!!

Hi Bon,
Youe bleeding heart looks nice, I had one once but it got over run with ground cover and gave up.
You have been pretty busy of late,{doesn't that sound very upper class?} When is your last day of school?

Your bleeding heart is very pretty! What kind of teatowels are you making? I'm going to be making some soon, I'm thinking of making some new ones for my etsy. I was a big weeping willow for my daughters first dance too, lol

Dear B, You're baaaack! Missed ya!Thanks sweetpea for the blessing. I pray weeping willow strength upholds you Friday. They sure withstand all the big blows down this way....they may bend but they sure bounce right back into place.

Do you have a traveling sewing basket? Have needle will bench warm? Are ya trying to tell us about a lil surprise coming your way=(making baby bibs?)

I was reading this flower essence book today on bleeding hearts. I'd have to go out and collect the dew drops that pop up on the flower blossoms over night and then mix that potion so I'd have a couple drops to put on my tongue. Their flower essence would enhance an inner peace so I could be able to give rather than need love.

Is your daughter wearing a flower power dress?

Your gardens sound lovely - can you please post more pictures as things bloom? My periennal beds are in serious need of some new ideas, so I'd love to see what yours look like

Isn't it funny how growing seasons go? My iris are all done blooming!

I love the sanity sewing, too. Sometimes, when I really feel deprived, I make myself a runner or a table topper (or give it away) to get the blood pumping again. :)

Hugs re: your daughter. They grow too fast.

Flowers.....I love looking at everyone's garden/yard. My yard grows cactus and sand spurs! :-/

Brownies and lemonade are ready at Yahweh's Retreat! I'm back after several days of too much busy-ness.
