My daughter and I were looking through her pictures last night and this one caught my eye. Oh, how green, how lovely! And look! Flowers! I do love the seasons, really I do. But it does not take me long at all to miss spring and summer!
God has His reasons for the seasons, though! And when all else fails me, I'll remember: This too shall pass!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Saturday will be filled with DD's basketball game. Then my first 4H meeting. I feel totally unprepared! Then Sunday will be church and Daytona 500 day. Yes, I must admit we are race fans, but we are kinda fuddy duddy "old school" fans. Oh, never mind that isn't even worth explaining here! LOL!

Ahem... 'old school' fans here, too. No explanation necessary! Nice grassy picture and lovely sky banner... Yes, hope of the next season to come!
Old pictures are alot of fun and hang in there Spring will be here. I bet your getting depressed with all that snow? You sounds like your weekend is a busy one. Have Fun.
When ever I look at summer time photos in the winter,I can't get over how I took all the green for granted, I miss it so right now!!
I saw green on someone else's blog. I think we're all longing for spring. Have a great weekend.
ooo a black blog in an all white world...
i like visiting snow. and with a sense of humor amd for the feel the chill effect,i hung my sled and ice skates, from my youth,on my fireplace... longingly is a good word.
when my boys were little we drove to NC one winter, and going through the GA mtns... the little one says "look at all the chalk and dead trees" ... raised in tropical FL, he saw the snow on the mtns like the dust on the blackboards at school...so see the education your children are getting is priceless and not all monotonally green ;)
I know how you feel. I'm sooo ready for the spring and summer too. Hope your 4-H meeting goes well. Just remember it is a learning experience for the kids and adults. My dad was a stock car racer when I was little and I have a 71 chevelle with a 454 and my dh has a 65 chevelle that we carry to the drag strips , I have the need for speed. I rather have the horsepower of 4 legs beneath me than 4 wheels. Have a great weekend
Hi Bon,
That was a really nice present you got from DH, he really is a DH!!
Where are your Moose slippers? Mary Beth has horse ones at her house.
Yes I want very much to smell that warm spring air. Bring it on!!

I feel a little guilty when I look outside and see green because we are green all year around. I didn't realize that until iheard more people talk about missing green. Like duh!!
Yesterday was 50 degrees out and the sun was shining and people were actually out mowing their lawns. A bit too early for me but soon. Washington is called the Evergreen State. MB
I am sorry!
