Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve as a child, an only child, we always opened presents. This was done more out of necessity than any other reason. Christmas morning we would empty the stockings that santa brought us, then head out for over an hour's drive to my maternal grandmother's.
Now that I am married and have children of my own, we carry on this tradition. It was just a beautiful time this year. Everyone was happy and healthy. The day was beautiful.
A big Bear hug!

A Fred Astair, Ginger Rogers movie set for mom.

We also got him a John Deere grill cover.

This is dad's goody box of warm socks and gloves, he works outside much of the time.

A NY Giants jersey for DS, he loved it too...wore it 3 days straight! LOL

She loves it!

After dinner the presents are opened! A butterfly chair for Rie..

DD loves crazy socks!

Dad bought mom some nice jewelry...awww...

Stockings were opened before dinner.

Checking out the computer Grandma got for Christmas!

My Dad and husband discussing either tractors or the football games of the day!

We could write a book on this cats personality! He loved Christmas too!
