Ornaments

I thought it would be fun to show each other some of our ornaments on the tree. I can't necessarily say these are my favorites, I have so many, but they made nice pictures.

This is Linus from Charlie Brown Christmas...he quotes the Bible and tells about when Jesus is born like in the show...it totally melted my heart and had to come home with me this year.

This was a gift from a friend last year. I think it beautiful, especailly as it is lit up by putting a bulb in the back.

Yes, the moose find their way into the tree also!
Quite a few to remind me of when the children were small...

And bulbs to fill in every space in between!

We've had a good 6 to 8 inches of snow in the last 6 hours; but I suspect it will all be cleaned up by tomorrow and there will be school. A big storm coming in Sunday could change our plans for traveling to a family Christmas party.

Hope you are all warm and safe!

Pretty! I still use some of the ornaments my children made in preschool as well. They are so sentimental to me, even have one cinnmon star left.

Oh how neat!!! I have an ornament that Kasey made(he is 23) when he was in the first grade. Out of all the kids, his ornament is the only one that has survived the longest. Hope you and yours have a blessed day.

Your ornaments are lovely. The one that is lit up is beatiful. I also have a few ornaments made by my kids when they were kids. They are now in their 40s. And I have newer ones made by my granddaughters. All of them made with love!

I enjoyed a peek at your lovely ornament collection.

Christmas blessings,

Renie

Love seeing your ornaments. Wal Mart has a "musical" Christmas card with Linus saying part of the Christmas story... then he says "That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." I didn't buy it, but I had to listen to it several times in the store. It sent chills down my spine... loved it!

Love the ornaments. I use the ones the kids made some many years ago. When I had the 4-H group we did a lot of ceramics (the mother of one of the girls had a shop) and everything horse was made. We sorta have a horsey theme. Naturally!! MB

Bonnie,
oh fun! I brought Linus home this year too. last year it was charlie brown, sally and snoopy decorating their tree and it plays a tune. I love the hallmark ones we get some every year at the open house. they gave away some nice ones this year too! thanks for the snow pictures. we had a couple inches about 2 weeks ago,but it only lasted about three days. no more yet but we're praying for a white christmas.
