INTRODUCING...

MANDI MAY!

No, I'm not kidding, we went and bought a Boxer puppy last week. My husband blames me; I blame him! It was just so...quiet and lonely with no fur baby to pet and dote on! Every day DH and I get home at the same time and the conversation invariably went back to missing Jasmine; and from there it went from "well what if we...?" Then I said well I'll be on summer vacation in a month that IS the opportune time to get a puppy. Before we knew we were packing the bewildered children in the car and heading to a beautiful farm to just look at a litter of pups. We left as owners.

The excitement and anticipation in the house is a wonderful balm to the heartbreak we so recently went through. Such a weird thing life is; missing one pet while looking forward to another. The kids tell me the countdown number every morning, noon and night....15 more days, mom!! How will we ever make it??

I guess this is what life is made of!

~Blessings!
She's looking right at us there...ready for all sorts of mischief!

Oh my goodness! What an armful of love! When our Charlie (ShihTzu) dies, we swore "no more" We felt we couldn't put our hearts out there again...well that lasted about a month! We adopted Braxton then about month later, Lulu joined us. We feel Charlie is happy now that he knows THEY are taking care of US!
Congratulations!

Oh by the way, Charlie had cancer too and we made the hard but humane decission too. My heart goes out to you and your family. It still makes my heart sad to look at Charlie's pictures, but sooo glad at teh same time that he blessed our lives for so long. He saw me through my cancer, but I couldn't save him from his....
Hugs to you,
Colleen

What a sweet little face. Congratulations on your new baby.

My DH had boxers when we married. Absolutely the most loving dogs I've ever seen.
